Data protection
Privacy policy
This page explains what personal data is processed through this website and the contact channels, for what purpose, on what legal basis and for how long, in accordance with articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
If this translation and the Spanish version differ, the Spanish version prevails.

What data is processed
This website has no contact form and does not collect data by itself. Data arrives because you provide it when you write: usually your name, a phone number or an email address, your little one's age and whatever you want to tell me about what you have noticed.
If you become a patient, the health data needed for care will also be processed, and it forms part of the clinical record. This is special category data and receives the enhanced protection it is entitled to.
Why it is processed
To answer your enquiry, arrange and manage the appointment, provide care and meet the legal and clinical documentation obligations that healthcare regulations impose.
On what legal basis
Your consent (article 6.1.a GDPR) when
you write to ask about something.
The performance of the service you request (article
6.1.b).
Healthcare provided by a professional bound
by professional secrecy (articles 9.2.h and 9.3), when health
data is processed.
Compliance with legal obligations (article
6.1.c), in particular those arising from Law 41/2002 and from Catalan
regulations on clinical documentation.
How long it is kept
Enquiries that do not lead to care are kept only for as long as needed to deal with them. The clinical record is kept for the periods set by Law 41/2002 and the applicable Catalan regulations, which are longer and do not depend on your request.
Who else may have access
Data is not disclosed to third parties for purposes unrelated to care, unless required by law. Access is limited to the providers needed to deliver the service —web hosting and communications— acting as processors.
About WhatsApp. If you get in touch via WhatsApp, that message passes through Meta's systems, with its own terms and its own international transfers. If you would rather not use it, email me: it is just as valid.
About appointments in Sagrada Família. Appointments at Llevadonas are managed by the centre itself: the button opens a WhatsApp conversation with its number, and whatever you write is received by Llevadonas.
About Doctoralia. Appointments in Sant Just are booked through Doctoralia: the data you enter there is also processed by Doctoralia, under its own terms and its own privacy policy. If you would rather not use it, write to me on WhatsApp or by email: it is just as valid.
International transfers
Some of those providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. When that happens, the transfer is covered by the mechanisms provided for in Chapter V of the GDPR.
Cookies
This website does not use cookies, tracking pixels or resources loaded from third parties. The fonts and images are served from the site's own domain. That is why you will not see any cookie notice: there is nothing to consent to.
The hosting provider compiles aggregate visit statistics from its own server logs: which pages are read most, and roughly where visits come from. Nothing is stored on your device and nothing is read from it, and the figures cannot identify you.
The only thing measured is how many times each page has been read, to show that figure next to it. Only the number is kept, on the website's own hosting: no cookie, no IP address, nothing that could tell who read it.
The links to Doctoralia, Instagram or WhatsApp only take you to those services when you tap them. This website loads nothing from them; once there, their own cookie policies apply.
Data of minors
A minor's data is not provided by the minor, but by their parents or guardians: that is its source, and the consent also comes from them. Information about a minor is always provided by their parents or guardians. The use of images of minors on this website or on social media requires the written and specific authorisation of those who hold parental authority or guardianship, given separately.
Do you have to provide your data?
No. Providing it is voluntary. However, without it it is not possible to answer your enquiry, arrange an appointment or provide care, in the same way that it is not possible to treat a child without knowing their age or what is happening to them.
Automated decisions
No automated decisions are made about you or your little one, and no profile is built. Everything that is assessed is assessed by a person.
Your rights
You can request access to your data, its rectification or its erasure, object to its processing, request its restriction or its portability, and withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the processing carried out before you withdraw it. Write to the address given above.
If you feel your request has not been handled properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (www.aepd.es), and in Catalonia with the Autoritat Catalana de Protecció de Dades.
Changes to this policy
If the processing changes, this page will be updated. The version in force is always the one published here.
